Broadway Infant School
In July 2023, Ofsted judged that Broadway infant School continues to be ‘Good’.
‘This is a happy and joyful school. Pupils enjoy attending because they feel well cared for.’
‘Leaders have established a well-sequenced curriculum from the early years to year 2. It is broad and balanced.’
‘Parents feel they cannot praise the school enough. One parent, whose comment was typical of many said ‘I know my child is happy, cared for, encouraged, supported and challenged academically. They go to school every day with a smile on their face.’
The Ridge Junior School
In November 2022, Ofsted judged that The Ridge Junior continued to be ‘Good’.
‘ Pupils enjoy attending this friendly and welcoming school. They understand the importance of following the school’s values of ‘respect, inclusion, drive, growth and empowerment’. Pupils know how these values help them be polite, hardworking and understanding of others.’
‘Leaders are ambitious for what all pupils can achieve, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). They accurately understand what the school does well and where it needs to improve further.’
‘Pupils’ attitudes towards learning are positive. Low-level disruption is rare. Playtimes are particularly purposeful. Pupils play well together during these times. They show high levels of teamwork and creativity.’
